Common wireless technologies, like Bluetooth, operate at a frequency of 2.4 GHz (the same as a microwave oven). These technologies are very susceptible to conflicting signals. The common problems experienced with these technologies (Bluetooth, etc.), such as signal loss, low quality audio/data, are solved with FreeLinc. Our NFMI connection operates at a much less harmful frequency. And the signal range is controlled so there's no interference or crossing with other wireless transmissions.
