In the United States alone, there is a projected shortage of 400,000 doctors and 1,000,000 nurses in by the year 2020; the world has outgrown brick and mortar solutions for healthcare delivery. Physicians will soon predict, detect, and even treat diseases remotely…using our smartphones. To do so, the smartphone must have secure and reliable wireless connectivity to the medical devices we use, wear and even implant.
