PROVO, Utah (Jan. 9, 2009) – A donation of approximately 50 new cell phones was made to United Way of Utah County by FreeLinc. The phones will go to the Center for Women and Children in Crisis.
“As a member of the Utah community, FreeLinc is proud to make this donation,” said Randy Bailey, President of FreeLinc. “We value our relationship with the Center for Women and Children in Crisis in Utah County and desire to continue to provide support as needed.”
FreeLinc, an Orem-based company, is the market leader in secure wireless capabilities: www.freelinc.com. This donation is valued at more than $2,000 and will allow women in the Center for Women and Children in Crisis to have a cell phone with them in case of an emergency.
“We’re grateful for companies like FreeLinc who are looking for ways to advance the common good in Utah County,” said Bill Hulterstrom, President and CEO of United Way of Utah County. “This generous donation will increase the safety of some of our community’s women in need by allowing them to always have an emergency phone.”
