Bluetooth operates at a frequency of 2.4 GHz (the same as a microwave oven). Even with the high frequency and AFH technology, Bluetooth is very susceptible to conflicting signals. The common problems experienced with Bluetooth, such as signal loss, low quality audio/bit stream, and battery life are solved with FreeLinc. Our NFMI (hyperlink to technology page) connection requires low amounts of power resulting in 5x longer usage time than comparable Bluetooth devices and operates at less harmful frequency.
